Officers and Regents

Academy members elect four officers and four regents for two-year terms. Each year the membership elects a Vice President, who serves as Vice President for a year, then President for a year, then Regent for Nominations for a year. The remaining Officers and Regents are elected by the membership for two-year terms:

  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Regent for Examination Development
  • Regent for Examination Administration
  • Regent for Certification Maintenance
  • Regent for Outreach
  • Regent for Member Services

The ACA Advisory Board, composed of past presidents, provides informal guidance and institutional knowledge to the President and Board. Various other volunteers round out the Academy’s governance through service as our webmaster, job coordinator, and on committees or working groups. Together, the Officers and Regents comprise the Board of Regents, which governs the Academy.
