In 1999, 34% answered that their institution preferred hiring a certified archivist. 3% required, or were planning to require it. For obvious reasons, there was no comparative question on the 1989 survey. This question was asked to learn how employers are accepting the CA designation. This data will be a benchmark for the Academy to compare to in ten more years. |
